The P1 Millwright team at Heartland Coca-Cola recently earned the Heartland Coca-Cola Pulse of Excellence Award in the category of “Power of the Partnership”.

The award proves once again that P1 is a trusted partner and solutions provider, going above and beyond for customers.

The award typically recognizes and celebrates Heartland Coca-Cola employees for their achievements and contributions to the company, but P1’s outstanding performance as a partner earned our Millwright team the honors in 2025.

According to Project Engineer Mitchell Stansell, Heartland Coca-Cola recognized P1 for excellence in dedication, performance, and alignment with their operational values.

“Our team’s commitment has elevated our reputation as a trusted partner, earning the respect of both Coca-Cola leadership and our industry peers,” Mitchell said.

It began with the success of the mezzanine project, awarded to P1 in 2024. Readers may recall this story from the February newsletter.

The success on that project earned the Millwright team an additional interior cross-over project in 2025.
The project consisted of nine crossover platforms designed to improve personnel access throughout the facility. These platforms now give Coca-Cola employees safer, more efficient access to production lines for both operations and maintenance tasks.

“P1’s success is rooted in responsiveness, adaptability, and consistently delivering quality work,” Mitchell noted.

Not only did P1 successfully complete the mezzanine and cross-over projects, a small crew of Millwrights continues to maintain an on-site presence.

“Our focus is providing rapid response to emergency breakdowns and supporting ongoing site improvements,” Mitchell said. “We work closely with the maintenance department on chute and grating repairs, equipment breakdowns, inspections, and general facility support.”

The team has also assisted with installation of critical equipment, like packing robots.

Mitchell notes that as P1 Millwrights strengthen their partnership with Heartland Coca-Cola, the volume and scale of opportunities continue to grow.

In keeping with P1’s core value “the expertise of many, the power of one”, it takes a village to build and maintain a partnership like this one, as evidenced by the teams that have been integral in supporting the work at Heartland Coca-Cola.

The P1 Construction Millwright team remains a fixture at Heartland Coca-Cola, providing maintenance care and installation for additional equipment, such as the packing robot pictured above.
