P1 Group Pop-up Store Provides 1,000 Meals for Meals on Wheels

P1 Group Supports Meals on Wheels

Supporting the communities in which we live and work is a fundamental goal at P1 Group each and every day.

One way in which we’re making a difference through “pop-up” swag sales. P1 Group’s Marketing Department periodically conducts “pop-up” stores during which P1 Group associates can purchase limited-edition swag featuring a one-of-a-kind design.

"The purpose is to not only keep our people looking good in their P1 gear, but to create a platform by which a portion of the proceeds benefit a charity of the company’s choice," Victoria Hoffman, Marketing + Communications Manager, explained. "It's a great way for our associates to have fun shopping for a new piece of apparel while supporting worthy causes throughout our communities."

In 2019, P1 did a sale featuring a limited-edition “100 Years Strong” t-shirt commemorating company’s 100-year anniversary. P1 Group raised $1,396 for No Kid Hungry, a child hunger relief program that provides summer meals, school breakfast, afterschool meals, and food skills education for parents.

P1 Group Supports No Kid Hungry

This year, P1 Group played on our greatest strength for the specialty swag design, which featured our tagline “The Expertise of Many, The Power of ONE” along with a representative list of P1 Group’s many single-source capabilities.

The organization was Meals on Wheels America, and shirt sales raised $2,500. P1 Group matched the amount, totaling $5,000 in donations.

Every $5 covers all of the food and operational costs to provide one meal for a homebound neighbor, according to Meals on Wheels.

This means P1 and those who donated helped provide 1,000 meals to neighbors in need. Way to go!
