P1 Group Makes ENR Top Specialty Contractor List
P1 Group has been named a 2018 Top 600 Specialty Contractor by the Engineering News-Record (ENR) magazine.
P1 Group hit the list at number 122 among all specialty contractors and also placed 37th on the “Top 50 Firms in Mechanical” list.
For more than 30 years, the Top 600 Specialty Contractors list has combined categories of specialty contractors (16 categories this year), ranking them by the previous year’s annual revenue.
The ENR list also reveals trends in the marketplace and the trend right now for specialty contractors is a “generational high market,” meaning the market is at its highest in work, although finding the labor to do the work remains a concern.
Contractors on the Top 600 list had combined revenue of $124 billion in 2017, up 10% from $112 billion in 2016. The mechanical and electrical trades accounted for 49 percent of the total revenue.
