P1 Group Announces Fall 2015 Corporate Sponsorships
LENEXA, Kan. - A foundation that provides medical supplies and a Kansas City Catholic school are the recipients of the Fall 2015 P1 Corporate Sponsorships.
The P1 Corporate Sponsorship program provides financial contributions to selected associate-nominated organizations. The sponsorships are awarded twice each year as a way for P1 to serve the community through the organizations that are meaningful to P1 associates.
The two Fall 2015 Corporate Sponsorship recipients are:
- Groundup Aid Foundation, nominated by Tom Abrams, P1 Group Marketing Communications Specialist and Vice President of the organization. Groundup recently delivered more than $70,000 in medical supplies and equipment to the Siuana Health Center in the municipality of Siuna, Nicaragua, which serves more than 100,000 people in about 200 rural and impoverished communities.
- Visitation Catholic School, which raised money for the Visitation Athletic Committee at its 2015 Annual Visitation Golf Classic. Eric Affolter, P1 Group Project Manager, nominated the charity. He has a child who is in kindergarten at the school.
Thanks to all of the P1 associates who applied, and congratulations to the winners! P1 encourages all associates to apply for future Corporate Sponsorships.
