P1 Construction Welcomes 2024 Summer Interns

This year P1 welcomes a mix of new and returning faces to the team of 2024 Construction interns. The interns are already out and about at project sites and activities, and we hope they have a great summer here with P1!

Aidan Wolownik
Mechanical Intern, Lenexa
Aidan is a student at Pitt State University, majoring in Construction Management.
He will be assisting Senior Project Manager/Team Leader Eric Affolter with projects including Project Velvet.

Syed Mustafa
Software Engineer Intern, Lawrence
Syed is a student at the University of Kansas, majoring in Computer Science.
He will be assisting Construction Technologist Jeff Peterson with multiple projects.

Carson Sutherland
Mechanical Intern, Lenexa
Carson is a student at Kansas State University, majoring in Construction Science and Management. He will be assisting Senior Project Manager/Team Leader Jason Quattlebaum with projects including: Garmin, Advent South, and on the NFL Data Center.

Griffin Souder
Mechanical Intern, Lenexa
Griffin is a student at Pitt State University, majoring in Construction Engineering Technology.
He will be assisting Operations Manager/Team Leader Chris Champagne with Project Kansas.

Parker Jenkins
(Returning) Mechanical Intern, Lenexa
Parker is a student at Pitt State University, majoring in Construction Management.
He will be assisting Senior Project Manager/Team Leader Eric Affolter with projects including St. Luke’s Ambulatory Surgical Center.

Brooks Scheelk
(Returning) Mechanical Intern, Lenexa
Brooks is a student at Pitt State University, majoring in Construction Management.
He will be assisting Senior Project Manager/Team Leader Carey Minihan with projects including Project Sandhills.

Reese McClurg
(Returning) Industrial Controls Engineering Intern, St. Joseph
Reese is returning to work in the Industrial Controls Division, under Lead Industrial Controls Engineer Cody Campbell.
