P1 Secures Preventive Maintenance Agreement with Tonganoxie USD 464

Tonganoxie Elementary School

TONGANOXIE, Kan. - On average Kansas public school districts spend 9.85 percent of their annual operating budgets on facilities, maintenance and utilities. With available resources shrinking, administrators face a daunting challenge maintaining school facilities.

Tonganoxie schools recently utilized the P1 approach to save the district money.  After switching from the previous preventive maintenance contract, USD 464 saved more than $60,000 a year. P1 assisted the district with identifying all equipment in each of the eight school buildings and worked with them to create a task list to prioritize which items required attention first.

“It has been a pleasure to work through the RFQ & RFP process with Dana Dunn, Meldan Engeman and Dave Sanders.  You could not ask for better representation than these professionals,” said Ann Clark, Business Manager for Tonganoxie USD 464. “I truly felt that while their job is to grow P1 and your K-12 initiative, they also wanted to do what is best for USD 464.”

P1 Service understands the many obstacles district administrators are facing and we are here to assist.  For more information regarding how your district can reduce costs while improving the learning environment, contact Dana Dunn (913) 529-5000 or Dave Sanders at (316) 267-3256.
