Fabricating pipe spools in our own P1 Group shop made the installation process for this project much faster.
During Refuel 28, P1 Group fabricated all pipe spools in the Lawrence fabrication shop prior to installation during the outage to speed up the installation process. There were three lines consisting of demo, heavy rigging, fitting, and welding out of 26" and 30" pipe in a confined space with limited scaffold. There were zero OSHA recordables, lost time incidents or first aides.
