Providing support for local charities, community activities, and events is an integral part of the P1 business plan. We take great pride in investing in our community and the lives of our associates. Each year, P1 offers two $500 sponsorships to P1 associates twice per year (spring and fall). All associates may apply for the sponsorships, which are intended to assist in the financial support of those organizations and activities that are important to our associates and the community.

Spring 2023 had a big surprise! The Executive Team simply couldn’t find one cause more worthy than another, so they made everyone who entered a winner! The following individuals have received $500 for the causes they chose.

COVID may have put a damper on last year’s activities, but we had a great turnout for Spring 2021 Corporate Sponsorship applicants!

Ryan was emotional with gratitude when he called Working Families’ Friend (WFF) to say “thank you.” Ryan was a successful carpenter. He had always been able to provide for himself and his family. But when a tragic accident claimed his leg, life got complicated. Multiple medical bills and an expensive prosthetic leg were making things worse. When physical challenges cut his job hours and he was on the brink of losing his insurance, Ryan knew he couldn’t do this by himself.

Twice annually, P1 Group associates are invited to apply for the Corporate Sponsorship award. The sponsorships allow P1 to serve the community through organizations that are meaningful to P1 associates.

P1 Group established the Corporate Sponsorship program in 2010, and has funded 36 associate-nominated organizations over the years. The Fall 2018 Corporate Sponsorship recipients are:
