LENEXA, Kan. - P1 Group showcased the new corporate headquarters building at an Open House on January 14. Family, friends and P1 associates from other locations attended the event, which featured informal tours of the building and refreshments in the building’s Gathering Space.
P1 Group moved into the new building, located at 13605 W. 96th Terrace in Lenexa, on November 16. It is a modern, non-traditional office space that was designed as a hybrid of traditional sheetrock wall construction and open office planning.
The building features many spaces to gather for quick meetings and also to socialize. The result has been an environment of teamwork and collaboration, in which people have had the opportunity to get to know one another.
Other benefits of the new space include:
- An abundance of natural light to provide a more vibrant environment.
- A larger Training Center for our associates’ education on the latest mechanical technologies.
- A showcase of our full-service MEP contracting capabilities, including exposed ductwork, conduit, piping and an IT Server Room displaying our building technology expertise.
“It was our desire to create an environment where associates look forward to coming to work because it is fun, rewarding and collaborative. Our hope is that this new office will physically help to reinforce this vision,” said Kollin Knox, P1 President.
