MANHATTAN, Kan. – The annual P1 Group Construction Science Scholarship at Kansas State University was recently awarded to Joseph Lohmann, a K-State senior from Seneca, Kan.

Lohmann, a graduate of Nemaha Valley High School, is a Construction Science major who plans to graduate in May 2016. He is the son of Jim and Michele Lohmann. He is a member of Sigma Lambda Chi, the international construction honor society, and is also an Eagle Scout.

The P1 scholarship provides financial assistance to students enrolled in the Department of Architectural Engineering and Construction Science at K-State. Undergraduate students, sophomore or higher in good academic standing and majoring in construction science and management are eligible to apply.

P1 Group established the K-State Construction Science Scholarship in 2008 as part of the company’s ongoing commitment to support higher education and the construction industry.
