LENEXA, Kan. – More than 50 kiddos descended on P1 Group on April 27, 2017 to see where their parents work and learn a little bit about the construction industry!
The day started out with a stop by the P1 Photo booth to capture a commemorative shot, then the festivities kicked off with a craft based on this year’s theme, “You Can Count on Me”.
Different stations were set up throughout the building for fun-filled learning activities that varied from an engineering challenge on building a lemonade stand, to walking through the steps of building a BIM model, to learning about proper safety gear and how to conduct a safety audit.
Around noon the different groups all met up in the P1 Training Room for a pizza party lunch with parents, followed by a magic show starring the amazing Reggie Regg the Magic Man!
This year’s success could not have been accomplished without the wonderful group of volunteers who spent their day teaching the next generation about day-to-day life here at P1. Thank you to all those who helped out – this day wouldn’t have been possible without you!
