The Mechanical Contractors Association of Kansas City (MCA-KC)  held its annual charity golf outing on September 30 at Ironhorse Golf Club in Leawood, KS. This year, all proceeds benefited Operation Breakthrough of Kansas City, an organization devoted to helping children who are living in poverty develop to their fullest potential.

The MCA-KC Young Professionals Committee, a group dedicated to cultivating the future generation of leaders within the mechanical contracting industry, assisted in the organization of the golf outing. As chair of the MCA-KC Young Professionals Committee, P1 Group Project Engineer Colin Fitzgerald played a big role in the success of this year’s tournament. MCA-KC’s fundraising efforts resulted in $18,000 that the organization was able to give to Operation Breakthrough.
