Quarterly Safety Meeting

Greg Sweeney gave the safety talk.

LENEXA, Kan. – P1 Group Lenexa office associates had their first Quarterly Safety Meeting this week, providing them with the opportunity to learn more about P1 Group’s commitment to a “Safety First, Quality Always” culture.

Greg Sweeney, Safety Director, gave a brief update on P1 Group’s safety statistics to date for 2016 and described what he might do on a typical day working with field associates to help them make jobsites safer.

Sweeney also discussed the Automated External Defibrillator (AED) that is located in the Lenexa office. He and Bo Wempe, Project Engineer, demonstrated how to use the AED in the event an associate or visitor goes into sudden cardiac arrest.

P1 Group is consistently among the safest contractors in the nation and continually works on ways to make all P1 jobsites safer. The company recently rolled out a safety incentive program that encourages all associates, field and office, to earn points that can be redeemed for merchandise.
