P1 Group wins HVAC project at Research Medical Center

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – As P1 Group, Inc. nears completion of its plumbing work at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Mo., the company is proud to announce it will now perform HVAC upgrades for the hospital’s isolation and operating rooms. These upgrades will ensure that the rooms will have the proper air changes per hour and room pressurization to comply with the strictest healthcare standards.

This project was awarded in December 2009 and is scheduled to be completed in June 2010.

Scope of Work

  • (3) new air handling units and ductwork to serve two operating rooms and the isolation room area

Research Medical Center features 511 beds and serves patients from a 150-mile region surrounding Kansas City. It is also one of the region’s leading acute care hospitals.
