P1 Group wins electrical project at Garden City High School

GARDEN CITY, Kan. – P1 Group, Inc. is pleased to announce it has won electrical work on the new 384,000-square-foot Garden City High School in Garden City, Kan. P1 will install the structured cabling system using a Siemon Connectivity Solution.

This project was awarded in February 2010 and is expected to be completed by December 2011.

Scope of Work

  • 1,900 Category 6 cables
  • 12 telecom closets
  • 10 gigabyte fiber optic backbone system

Congratulations to Jeff Dallas, project manager, and the entire preconstruction staff for securing this project.

This new high school is part of a $97.5 million bond passed in 2008 to construct a new larger high school and remodel of the current high school, Abe Hubert Middle School and Garfield Elementary School to house different education levels.
