LAWRENCE, Kan. – P1 Group Inc., a large Kansas City-based specialty contractor, recently announced the promotion of Gloria Keating to chief financial officer. Previously serving as the company’s finance director, Keating assumed her new role in January.
Over the past 10 years, Keating has worked closely with P1 Group’s management team, first as an external auditor and tax preparer and now as a P1 associate. Specializing in budgeting, projections, cash flow management and data analysis, she joined P1 Group in 2007 while the company was consolidating its five founding companies into a single operating corporation. She successfully oversaw the consolidation of tax, accounting and IT systems to support a one-company platform and has been instrumental in establishing unified processes through P1 University.
“Gloria has been tremendous for P1 Group in the four years she has been a member of our team,” said P1 Group CEO Smitty Belcher. “In particular, the leadership and expertise she displayed while helping us work through our major organizational changes has been incredibly valuable. Gloria has been very successful in her time here, and her promotion was the natural next step.”
Gloria is an active member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC). She is currently the treasurer of NAWIC’s Topeka Chapter.
