P1 Group hosts annual charity golf tournament

P1 Group, Inc. held a company golf tournament on September 12 that fostered both friendly associate interaction and giving to a good cause. The scramble format tournament was played at Drumm Farm Golf Course in Independence, MO, and featured more than 140 participants. All proceeds went to benefit the Truman Medical Center Charitable Foundation.

Participants were encouraged to donate by taking part in several pay-to-play challenges, including a putting contest and multiple par 3 contests challenging participants to hit the green off the tee. P1 Group also raised by money by holding a raffle with vendor-donated prizes.

In all, the P1’s fundraising efforts resulted in $7,766 that the company was able to give to the Truman Medical Center Charitable Foundation. P1’s contribution will help enable the foundation to make great strides in medical education.

The event also brought P1 Group associates together on a more personal level. Random pairings gave field and office associates from various locations the chance to golf with people they might not interact with on a regular basis.

First place winners of the A-flight included Darla Frost, Ryan Kanatzer and Kyle Piedimonte. Dan Brooks won the putting contest, and Ted Lunn and Dave Eder each won par 3 contests.
