P1 Group, Inc. held its annual charity golf tournament on September 11 at Drumm Farm Golf Course in Independence, Mo. The scramble format tournament yet again reached full capacity with 144 participants. This year, all proceeds went to benefit Saint Luke’s Health System charities.
Participants were encouraged to donate by taking part in several pay-to-play challenges, including a putting contest and multiple par 3 contests challenging participants to hit the green off the tee. P1 Group also raised money by holding a raffle with vendor-donated prizes.
P1’s fundraising efforts resulted in more than $9,000 that the company was able to give to Saint Luke’s Health System charities, the highest amount raised in tournament history.
First place winners of the A-flight included Gary Sowle, Samuel Sowle, Scott Schoonover and Tad Gebhards. JB Ashcraft won the putting contest, and Kevin Brennan and Rob Eder each won par 3 contests.
