P1 associates earn Weishaupt factory training certification

Recently five P1 Group associates earned their Weishaupt Burner Certification at a three-day class in Elgin, IL.

Kyndel Paulsen, Jacob Yost, Jeff Shaw, Randy Presley and Dan Shoemaker are now factory certified in the proper setup and commissioning of the Weishaupt burner. The class covered the following topics:

  • Burner Training
    • Oil Burners
    • Natural Gas Burners
    • O2 Trim
    • Siemens LMV Control System
  • Start-Up Commissioning
    • Combustion Tuning
    • O2 Trim Setup
  • Service Tuning

Choosing boiler retrofits to save money

According to the Department of Energy, nearly 80% of boilers in the United States are 30 years or older and up to one-third of a facility’s energy bill can come from the boiler plant. While purchasing a new high-efficiency boiler or replacing an older boiler is an option to achieve energy savings, it is not the only way.
