Osage County Help House is P1 Bracket Challenge winner

LENEXA, Kan. – Jason Bilyeu, Industrial Project Engineer at P1 Group, will split the proceeds from the 2015 P1 Charity Bracket Challenge with Osage County Help House.

To celebrate March Madness and help our community, P1 associates, family and friends are invited to fill out an NCAA Tournament bracket for ten dollars. The winner of the bracket challenge receives half of the proceeds while the other half, doubled by P1 Group, is donated to a charity of the winner’s choice.

When Bilyeu emerged as the 2015 Bracket Challenge winner, he immediately thought of the Osage County Help House in Lyndon, KS, directed by his mom, Pam Bilyeu. Help House will receive an $840 donation.

“Couldn’t ask for a better way to start a Tuesday than to put a smile on your mom’s face and help out a good cause,” said Jason.

Help House was founded in 2003 by the churches of Osage County. It is the designated Harvesters food assistance program for the county and serves as a donation and distribution site for food, clothing and household items. Volunteers also offer classes on household budgets, distribute school supplies and provide many other services.

“We help 190 families a month with food, on average, and that is most likely where we will use this donation,” said Pam Bilyeu. “This will really help.”

Jason, congratulations to you and to Osage County Help House.
