Summary
KU Multidisciplinary Research Building was a fast-track project completed in only 15 months. The Biosecurity Level 3 research facility provides a multidisciplinary “think tank” for researchers to share ideas and promote the sciences. The facility meets the needs for a variety of research projects and departments. The project also includes space for researchers working with hazardous organisms and pathogens in a laboratory suite, an environmentally stable isotope lab and a biochemistry lab for geological research, as well as clean room facilities for nanofabrication research.
