Summary

The new facility was built as an addition to the University of Kansas’ School of Engineering. The innovative “green technologies” facility meets the needs for a variety of research projects aimed to develop biofuels, remote sensing technologies, commercial avionics and sustainable materials. P1 successfully completed the mechanical phase of this project on time by utilizing P1′s pipe fabrication facility. The pipe fabrication shop successfully detailed and fabricated 50-plus pipe racks for the interior of the building and the new steam tunnel that extends from Green Hall to M2SEC.
