Joplin Chamber helps celebrate new office with ribbon cutting

P1 Group Joplin Missouri Ribbon Cutting

JOPLIN, Mo. – P1 Group and the Joplin Chamber of Commerce on November 8 officially celebrated the opening of a new P1 Group office in the city. P1 Group has been working on projects in the Joplin area for about a decade and is a member of the Tri-State Area Contractors Association.

Because of the company’s history in the Joplin area and its work to help with tornado relief efforts, opening an office was a natural next step. Just after the tornado, senior project manager Casey Walsh was among the P1 Group associates to witness the destruction.

“When you see the devastation in person, it’s so much worse than television and photos can illustrate,” Walsh said at the time. “It makes you want to contribute to the cause, to find some way to help. And we have employees that live down there, so it just hits close to home. We’re fortunate to be in a position to help Joplin, and that’s exactly what we plan to do.”
